Step into a night you won't ever forget! The Gatsby Gala, a fundraising event hosted at the beautiful Brantwyn Estate on the grounds of the DuPont Country Club in the Brandywine Valley, will transform your evening into a scene from the roaring 1920's complete with champagne towers, live music, food, auctions, raffles and decade-appropriate photo opps! The Gatsby Gala is a tribute to the joy and fun experienced at the end of prohibition on December 5, 1933. It is also a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Great Gatsby, written by F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1922. It's a night of cocktails and decadence that is sure to be the cat’s pajamas! So join us on Saturday, October 28th, from 7:30PM - 11:30PM at Brantwyn. 1920's-style attire is requested and will be perfect for those photo opps and Instagrammable moments! While you are enjoying all the fun, you will also be adding to your philanthropic ventures. All net proceeds will go to support Safe Haven Healing, Inc., a 501(c)3 charity organization whose mission it is to be a hub for survivors of trauma tied to sexual assault, rape, and domestic violence. Other Important Information:
In keeping with the theme of the time, all guests should follow the evening’s dress code. Men are invited to come in black tie, while women are requested to arrive in flapper fashion.
The event is ages 21+. Only valid government-issued photo ID is accepted as proof of age. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to enter the event.
ALL TICKETS ARE FINAL SALE. In the event of government restrictions that would prevent us from hosting this event, refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used at the time of purchase.
About the Venue
The gorgeous Brantwyn Estate will host our event. Brantwyn Estate is a former du Pont family residence and is the perfect example of Georgian charm. It is situated on 60 acres of the wooded landscape of the Brandywine Valley. The estate's cultured country manor setting with its lush formal gardens offers a splendid backdrop for Delaware’s party of the year.
