Welcome to the 2017 McDonald's All American Games POWERADE® Jam Fest!

The 2017 McDonald's All American Games kick off Monday, March 27 with the POWERADE Jam Fest at the Keating Sports Center at Illinois Institute of Technology on ESPN2. Doors open at 6:00 pm CST.

This high-flying basketball showcase includes the McDonald's All Americans competing in a variety of contests including the Legends & Stars Shootout, Three-Point Shootout, and the fan favorite Slam Dunk Contest.

Competition Rules (subject to change)

Legends & Stars Shootout

  • Teams are composed of 1 Boy and 1 Girl McDonald’s All American currently on the roster and 1 McDonald’s All American Alumni (Boy or Girl).
  • Timed shooting competition with a maximum allowed time of one minute and 30 seconds.
  • Teams must complete/make four different shots from different spots on the floor in sequential order

 

Three-Point Shootout

  • Two rounds of timed shooting, each participant has one minute to score as many three pointers from the five designated stations positioned as possible
  • For the preliminary round each station will have four brown balls worth one point each and one money ball worth points each.
  • For the final round each of the three contestants will have the option to place a money ball rack consisting entirely of money balls at any of the 5 locations.  The other four racks will be set up the same as they were for the first round (4 brown, 1 money ball)
  • Three boys and girls with the highest preliminary scores will move on to the final round

 

Slam Dunk Contest

  • Each participant will have 45 seconds to complete a dunk and the dunk will be scored by a panel of judges; higher scores will go to the more creative and athletic dunks
  • During the first round, players will need to complete two dunks and the top four participants with the highest scores advance to the final round
  • A player may miss dunks as long as the player completes their dunk in the 45 seconds allotted, if that player does not complete a dunk, they will receive a zero

 

Refunds/Exchanges

Refunds and exchanges will not be made for the 2017 POWERADE Jam Fest, unless the order is not fulfilled.  All sales are final.

Parking

Parking for the 2017 POWERADE Jam Fest is free. Public parking is available south and west of the Keating Sports Center off of 31st Street and north off of 30th street.

Be sure to order your tickets NOW to see these McDonald’s All Americans bring their talents to the United Center on Wednesday, March 29! The Girls Game starts the action with a 4:00 pm tip-off, followed by the Boys at 6:00 pm CST.
