Event Information

NOTE: Fees are included in the class price. An additional $10 grounds fee applies at checkout. Thank you for supporting Cheshire Hunter Trials!

Hunter Ring O/F classes will consist of 8 show hunter fences in a turf ring. The first round will be a traditional hunter round; the second round will be a handy round, which may include added elements and/or a trot fence. Back-to-back rounds are encouraged. Junior and Adult divisions may be combined at the committee’s discretion.

The Low Outside course will consist of elements including coops, roll tops, logs, gates, and post and rail. Fences will range from 2’–2’6”. This course is separate from the High course and runs over a mostly flat field area akin to a typical cross-country derby course.

The High Outside course is typical of Cheshire Hunt Country and may include coops, telephone poles, post and rail, brush, and a stone wall. Fences will not exceed 3’3”. This course will traverse fields and include uphill and downhill terrain.
