The Greatest Show on Turf Returns: 2025 Geneseo Airshow to Honor the Battles of the Pacific on July 12 & 13, 2025

Geneseo, NY – July 12 & 13, 2025 – Experience the thrill, the history, and the heart of aviation at the 2025 Geneseo Airshow: The Greatest Show on Turf. This year, we honor the 80th Anniversary of VJ Day with a powerful theme—“Battles of the Pacific”—featuring unforgettable reenactments and thrilling tributes that bring WWII history roaring back to life.
Headlining this year's commemorations is "Tora! Tora! Tora!", a dramatic recreation of the attack on Pearl Harbor complete with Japanese aircraft, explosive pyrotechnics, and a gripping live narration. You'll feel the rumble of engines and the intensity of the moment as this pivotal piece of history unfolds before your eyes.
Prepare for goosebumps as a formation of B-25 bombers flies overhead in tribute to the daring Doolittle Raid, while C-47s—including our own “Whiskey 7”—reenact the treacherous “Flying the Hump” supply missions over the Himalayas. The show will culminate in a stirring Tokyo Bay Flyover, celebrating the victory that brought WWII to a close.
Beyond these historic moments, you'll see a stunning lineup of classic warbirds like the P-40, P-51, and Corsair, jaw-dropping aerobatics and—for the first time ever together in Geneseo—modern military power from the USAF F-35A Lightning II and Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet demonstration teams.
Families will love the FREE Future Aviators Kids Zone, hands-on STEM exhibits, free parking, and complimentary bottled water—plus kids 12 & under get in FREE! With an open flightline where you can walk right up to aircraft and meet the pilots, this is a family-friendly hometown airshow unlike any other.
