About the Tasting
Join the Wilmington Whiskey Club for an evening exploring one of bourbon's true innovators. Angel's Envy was founded by Bourbon Hall of Fame Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson and his son Wes, who pioneered "secondary finishing" — aging whiskey in charred oak, then transferring it to unique finishing casks for added depth and complexity. The name comes from the "Angel's Share," the whiskey lost to evaporation during aging — Lincoln joked they'd finally struck a better deal than the angels.
This tasting features 5-6 expressions spanning Angel's Envy's distinct flavor profiles, each showcasing a different side of their finishing craft. A great night for newcomers and seasoned bourbon drinkers alike.
