The 2024 Thunder Over the Heartland Air Show will feature THREE incredible
days with TWO different types of experiences.
Friday and Saturday will feature
our signature night air show productions with gates opening at 12pm, flying
beginning at 3pm (with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flying first!), and concluding
with nighttime aerobatic performances, pyrotechnics, and fireworks around 8pm.
Sunday will be a traditional day show experience with gates opening at 9am,
flying beginning at 12pm, and a finale performance by the U.S. Air Force
Thunderbirds to conclude the day.
The event will take place rain or shine. A robust static display and other exhibits support the effort in making the show possible in all weather conditions. If weather poses a risk to the safety of the public or performers, some flying demonstrations may be modified, delayed, or suspended. All sales are final (no refunds or rain checks).
